วันก่อนฉันนอนหลับไม่ค่อยดีเท่าไหร่ค่ะ เซ็งเครียดเรื่องงาน จนต้องพาลไปฟูดแลนด์กลางดึก ตี 2 แต่จริงๆแล้วไปซื้อเปริเย่ และ m&m มากะว่าจะกินย้อมใจ (โอ้ยยยย เหมือนกินเหล้า) กลับมาก็หลับไป โดยมิได้อาบน้ำ โอ้ยยยยยยยยยยยย!!! จะเขียนทำไม!!!! นอนไปได้ 3 ชม. ก็ตื่นขึ้นมา พร้อมกับมีเพลงสองสามท่อน ก้องไปก้องมาอยู่ในหัว

 

Didn't have a good sleep the other night. My head was filled with lots of anxiety about works, etc, ... so bad that I got to go out to Foodland (aka my mental pub) in the middle of the night, dopping myself with Perrier and M&M Chocolate (aka my mental booze)... Then came back home lying on the bed.. 3 hours later, I woke up and realised I haven't even taken a shower =..= (Even God wouldn't know why I have to mention this). Plus there was a tune that I just couldn't shake out from my head.

 

ว่าแล้วก็เลย search เนื้อเพลงที่ก้องอยู่ในหัวเล่นๆ ก็ไปเจอเนื้อเพลงนี้แบบเต็มๆเข้าค่ะ เพลงความฝันอันสูงสุด จริงๆแล้วเพลงนี้เป็นเพลงที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ทรงประพันธ์ทำนองใหม่ ให้เข้ากับเนื้อร้อง ที่ดัดแปลงมาจากเพลง The Impossible Dream ของฝรั่งอีกที โดยท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุญนาค เป็นผู้ดัดแปลงเนื้อเป็นภาษาไทย

 

Since the song was already playing there, I searched for the full lyric and found the song called "Impossible Dream" (in Thai). Basically this song derived from the English version, but had all the lyric translated (with some adjustments by Lady Maneerat Bunnak) and was sung in a new original tune composed by the King Bhumibol of Thailand.

 

ไม่ใช่ว่าไม่เคยฟังหรอกนะคะ แต่ไม่แน่ใจเนื้อทั้งหมด ก็เลยนั่งอ่านเใหม่ตั้งแต่แรกจนอีกรอบนึง... (ขออภัยล่วงหน้าอย่างรุนแรง สำหรับภาษาอังกฤษที่อาจจะไม่สละสลวยนักและกระท่อนกระแท่น ฉันพยายามปรับภาษาอังกฤษให้มันได้ใจความใกล้เนื้อภาษาไทยมากขึ้นซักหน่อยอะค่ะ โดยอ้างอิงมาจากเนื้อเพลง The Impossible Dream อันเก่า  เอ๊ะ แล้วทำไมต้องเขียนภาษาอังกฤษ) เนื้อเพลง มีว่าอย่างนี้ค่ะ

 

Not that I have never heard of it, I'm just not that familair with the whole lyric. Here it goes. Here is the lyric. Please pardon my broken English here, ok? I'm just trying to pair up the meaning the closet I could.

อ่านแล้วก็รู้ตัวได้ ว่าฉันช่างโชคดีแค่ไหน ที่มีชีวิตอยู่ทุกวันนี้เกิดมาในยุคที่มีศาสนาพุทธ และเกิดมาในยุคที่มีพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ที่ทรงให้กำลังใจฉัน และพสกนิกรทุกๆคน ผ่านทางบทเพลงๆนี้

 

Reading the whole lyrics, I realised how lucky I am to be born in the era that Buddism still exists, having the great King who touched people's hearts through this encouraging song.

 

ความทุกข์ ความรันทด ความผิดหวัง ความเสียใจ ความเซ็ง ความไร้สาระของฉัน ไม่มีความหมายใดเลย เมื่อเทียบกับอุปสรรคขวากหนาม ที่ในหลวงของเรา ทรงพระวิริยะ อุตสาหะ ฝ่าฝันไป ในการที่จะช่วยเหลือ ดูแลความสุข ของราษฎรของพระองค์ท่าน มาตลอด 60 กว่าปีที่ผ่านมา พอรู้แบบนี้แล้ว ก็คิดต่อได้ว่า... กะอิแค่เรื่องงานจิ๊บจ๊อย ที่สร้างประโยชน์ให้แค่ตัวเองและครอบครัว ถ้ายังมามัวนั่งรันทดอัดชอคโกแลตต่างเหล้าแบบนี้ ชีวิตจะเสียไปเปล่าๆปลี้ๆซะมากกว่า

 

All my grief, my sorrow, my diappointment means nothing compares to my King's efforts and sacrifice for my country for more than 60 consecutive years. Selfish me only worried about my own business when His Majesty The King lives and breathes for the whole nation. Realising this, there is no reason for me to keep chubbify myself on peronal grief and chocolate, wasting my life, my time.

 

งานส่วนตัวของฉัน มันก็เป็นแค่ของกระจอก เมื่อเทียบกับการทำงานเพื่อส่วนรวม เพื่อผู้คนจำนวนมาก ฉันโชคดี ที่มีในหลวงอยู่ในใจ ทรงเป็นกำลังใจให้ฉัน เป็นแรงบันดาลใจอันยิ่งใหญ่ ทำให้ฉันมีเป้าหมาย ในเวลาที่ไหลรวนไปกับคลื่นโน้นคลื่นนี้ ตีกลับไปกลับมา อย่างน้อย นาทีนี้ ฉันก็กลับมาตั้งหลักได้แล้วว่า ต้องทำอะไร เพื่ออะไร และที่สำคัญ ฉันจะต้องเอาพระองค์ท่านเป็นแบบอย่าง ทำงานเพื่อคนอื่น ดีที่สุด

 

I am lucky to have my King Bhumibol as my great inspiration. Under the storm of uncertainty, discouragement, and disappointment, I finally could see my goal very cleary again. Now I know what I am doing, and where I am heading to. And all the thing I am going to do will be more for others than for myself.

 

ฉันรักในหลวงของฉัน และขอพระองค์ทรงพระเจริญยิ่งยืนนาน
I love my King from the bottom of my heart. Long live the King!
